Vitamins Minerals, and Supplements You Probably Need Throughout Your Day.

November 9, 2021 By admin

According to the World Health Organization, “the current intake of vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, and zinc are generally below recommended intake levels in most populations worldwide.”

We are mostly deficient in vitamin D, E, C, B12, magnesium, zinc, and potassium. Zinc is important for wound healing. Magnesium is needed for healthy bones and muscles. Potassium helps our bodies maintain the right balance of fluids

Nutritional supplements help us to ensure we’re meeting our daily nutritional needs, and they can also be used to prevent or manage a variety of conditions such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and cancer.

We know that we should be taking nutritional supplements daily – but we don’t, and we really need to.
Here’s why:

Nutritional supplement use is associated with:
- Lower risk of heart attack and stroke - Improved immune function
- Reduced risk of cancer - Lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels
- Improved mental health - Reduced risk of infectious disease including upper respiratory tract infections
- Less frequent hospitalization from acute illness
- Better infant birth outcomes - Better bone mineral density in women, healthy aging*
